FRIENDLY PAY POLICIES

Paychecks are processed every week for your convenience. Advances may be arranged during the week.

PARKING REIMBURSEMENT

parking reimbursement for Per Diem Professionals is offered up to $5.00 per day. Monthly parking reimbursement is available for travelers.

GUARANTEED HOURS

PROCEL travel nurses are usually offered guaranteed hours for every assignment.

HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION

PROCEL offers Group Health, Dental and Vision Insurance with PROCEL contribution. If you are working a Per Diem schedule you qualify for group Insurance on the 1st of the month following three months of full time work. Travelers qualify for Group Health Insurance on the 1st of the month following start of a travel assignment. Group Health Insurance is also available for dependents and family.

TERM LIFE INSURANCE

PROCEL provides free $15,000 Term Life Insurance once qualified for Health Insurance at no cost to you.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

PROCEL provides free EAP once you are qualified for Health Insurance at no cost to you.

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT

Eligible travelers will receive travel and/or mileage reimbursement. Talk to your recruiter to see if you are eligible for tax free travel reimbursement.

CREDIT UNION

Western Federal Credit Union is available for all employees, both Per Diem and Travel, upon hire.

REFERRAL BONUS

Know a friend or colleague looking for extra work? Just refer them to PROCEL and you will be eligible to receive a generous referral bonus. Referral bonus of $500 is offered for RNs. We will pay you whether you are currently on assignment with PROCEL or not as long as you have been an employee of PROCEL. There is no limit to how many you can refer. LICENSURE REIMBURSEMENT

Travelers will be reimbursed for nursing licensure required for travel assignments with PROCEL Nurses. Our recruiters will help you with every aspect of your credentialing and licensure requirements.

HOLIDAY PAY

Most of our facilities provide holiday pay for the six major holidays: New Years, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day and July 4th. Approval depends on Facility policies.

DIRECT DEPOSIT - Free

PROCEL offers direct deposit to all employees. We will arrange to have your paycheck deposited directly into your checking or savings account. Direct deposit may start at any time. Enjoy the security of having your paycheck deposited directly into your bank account.

FREE, PRIVATE FURNISHED HOUSING

We are delighted to provide private furnished housing to you during your travel assignment. Our housing is carefully selected for quality and safe location near your assignment. Your accommodations include house wares and useful amenities. We know that you are away from home and want you to be comfortable. If you prefer to arrange your own housing, you will receive a generous housing allowance. Your recruiter will be able to provide you with more information about our company-paid housing.

PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY and WORKERS COMPENSATION

PROCEL provides, at no cost to you, our excellent, comprehensive professional, general liability insurance and workers compensation, effective upon first day worked.

COMPLETION BONUS

You may be eligible to receive a completion bonus of up to $1,500 on selected nursing travel assignments.

LOYALTY BONUS

All Travelers earn a Loyalty Bonus throughout the year. The bonus is earned upon 1000 hours worked in one year. Your recruiter will tell you all about it.

LOCAL TRAVEL ASSIGNMENTS:

If you like the idea of travel but have obligations keeping you from traveling a distance, you may still enjoy many benefits of a traveler and stay right at home. Your recruiter will tell you all about it.

TAX ADVANTAGE PROGRAM:

We recommend that you seek a qualified tax advisor to receive explanation as to how the tax opportunities may apply to you.

There are three main tax rules that must be met for a traveler to participate in the Tax Advantage Program. 

  • 1. The travel nurse must have a permanent tax home.
  • 2. The assignment must not be within commuting distance of the permanent tax home.
  • 3. The assignment, including extensions may not extend beyond one year.

Talk with your Recruiter about the Tax Advantage Program you so deserve. We will provide you with forms for this benefit.
